Meet our newest crafty Polka Dot Mom, Amanda of Queen Bee Designs by Amanda!
She is truly the "Queen Bee" of her home. She lives with her husband, her two sons and even their pet dog, tortoise and guinea pig are boys! Amanda is a former first grade teacher who loves to scrapbook and decoupage anything and everything. I need to ask her to write an article about decoupage...it is such a cool craft that I want to try!
Amanda received a hand-stamped pendant with her boy's names on it as a gift and just fell in love with the craft from there. She started her crafty business like many of us did - with lots and lots of research and plastic bins filled with samples and mistakes and loads of fabric (oh wait, that's me).
Back to Queen Bee Designs...I love Amanda's hand-stamped sterling silver jewelry so much. The great thing about buying your gifts from a small business crafter is they can personalize the gift to be exactly what you are looking for. Amanda stamps each piece herself and has created custom pendants with Bible verses, bridesmaids names, children's names and even bride and groom names with their wedding date.
On her new pieces she has added pearl and precious stone dangles (I am a big fan of this look).
Amanda has titled her craft "personalized sterling silver hand-stamped pendants". Most of her cerustomers are mommies, but she also caters to grandmas, dads and grads.
Her current project is for a bridal party of twelve. Each bridesmaid and groomsman will receive a unique piece to cherish for years to come.
Every hand-stamped pendant order includes an 18" sterling silver petite ball chain necklace. Swarovski crystal or freshwater pearl dangles are shown in many of her designs and may be added to any order.
Amanda processes her orders via her blog at http://www.queenbeedesignsbyamanda.blogspot.com/.
You can e-mail her your ideas. She writes, "your imagination is the limit, so take a look around and let's get stamping!"
Mention "Polka Dot Mom" in your e-mail to Amanda and receive 10% off your entire order. Thanks, Queen Bee!
