About Me
I'm Sally, the founder of Polka Dot Mom and owner of Polka Dot Market, a party clothing & decor company. I am working to put God first in all areas of my life. My husband would say I work too much and shop too much and drink too much caffeine (he's right!). I am the proud mommy of two sweet little girls who are 3- and 5-years-old. I have four sisters (I'm the perfectionist first-born) and we live all over the place. My dad is a Presbyterian minister and my mom is still raising kids as a nanny. I love to finish a project, go to the craft store alone, and I love leaving the house at 2:15 pm to pick up my girls from school. I live in Birmingham, Alabama now...by way of Memphis, Anderson, Kansas City, Midland, Charlotte, Detroit and Nashville.... I've been a handmade business owner since 2004 and I created Polka Dot Mom to gather and promote the amazing moms that I meet every day. This blog doesn't help my persistent shopping habit, but buying from friends is always more fun, right?
